已出版的中文版《生命进化的物理观》是理论生物学领域的一部重要的学术著作，作者结合自己潜心转向生命科学研究十几年的学术成果，用物理学的观点和方法，提出和讨论了生命进化的一系列重大问题，如生物分子手性的起源和进化，遗传密码的起源和进化，核酸、蛋白质序列的进化和有关的信息学研究等。
