中国正迈向世界**旅游大国,据现任世界旅游组织秘书长弗朗吉亚利预测:“到2020年,中国将成为世界**大旅游国,届时将有1.37亿人次去那里参观、访问和游览。”我国入境旅游的迅猛发展对旅游从业人员,尤其是导游,在外语交际水平方面提出了更高的要求。
《导游英语听与说》是在此背景下,为了提高涉外导游的英语听说水平而编写的培训用书。本书适用于旅游管理专业本科“专业英语”课程、高等职业技术教育导游专业“导游英语”,以及在职导游和有志从事导游的人士。
本教材共有15课。每课由三大主题部分构成:导游英语听力、导游英语会话、专题导游解说。

导游英语会话(Oral Practices)练习内容以导游功能为主,包括欢迎辞,饭店、游览、购物、订票等,练习形式有情景对话、扮演角色、小组讨论等。
专题导游解说(Tourist Guide Ciotamentary)内容以中国名胜景区为主,练习形式有复述、模拟解说等。
