为切实提高我国航海类专业毕业生专业英语的实际应用能力及推进航海教育国际化战略的实施,在南通航运职业技术学院领导的大力支持及广大师生的积极配合下,“船舶管理”课程组实施了双语教学改革,并开展了“船舶管理”英文版教材“Ship Management”的编写工作。希望通过《船舶管理(英文版)》的学习,航海类轮机专业毕业生能尽早适应远洋实船工作,满足国际化职业的实际要求。
在编写《船舶管理(英文版)》之前,《船舶管理(英文版)》主编已在南通航运职业技术学院轮机管理专业2014级、2015级进行了“船舶管理”双语教学。编者根据教学的实际情况,查阅了大量的英文文献,完成了《船舶管理(英文版)》的编写工作。
