《大学英语长篇阅读(上)/“十二五”普通高等教育本科规划教材系列》由8个单元组成。每个单元有4篇文章,练习形式与大学英语四、六级考试长篇阅读题型紧密结合,每篇文章除了段落匹配题外,还设计有单项选择题和信息填充题。学生通过对英语语言材料的学习,开阔视野,熟悉和掌握阅读技能,同时还能熟悉和掌握新题型的要求,使学生在愉悦的阅读中,增强学习兴趣,逐步提高阅读能力及英语语言的应用能力。
