《科技语篇阅读与翻译》主要培养学生阅读和翻译英文科技文章的综合能力，全书包括8个单元，涉及主题包括神秘宇宙、太空探索、物理科学、材料科学、生物医学、自动工程、人工智能、能源生态。每个单元包括三篇文章，两篇以阅读为主，偏重阅读能力和技巧的培养，另一篇以翻译为主，偏重翻译表达能力的提升。每一章会设计3-4个阅读任务和1个翻译任务。此外，每个单元都会根据本章内容设计一个翻译技巧（translating tips）和阅读技巧(reading tips)小节，为学生提供技巧策略指导。本教材除了将阅读与翻译相结合之外，还有一个比较突出的特色，就是在翻译文章中设置了一个译文评估修改任务（呈现教师对学生译文的评估，然后要求学生根据评估对译文进行修改），旨在帮助学生通过评估学习提升翻译能力和技巧。其他特色：1. 选材新颖、题材广泛 2. 融入思政元素，价值** 3.练习全面、实用性强。 读者对象：英语、非英语专业本科生，研究生、大专生、科技工作者以及英语学习爱好者。
