《中国文化（英文版）（第3版）》是“十二五”普通高等教育本科**规划教材，是在内容语言融合学理念指导下，依托**哲学社会科学项目推出的内容语言融合系列教材之一。《中国文化（英文版）（第3版）》涵盖了中国文化的代表性主题，精选十五个中华文化知识板块，撷取中国文化的一个个典型侧面，按照衣、食、住、行等专题组织编排。涉及学生进行语言或文化交流的高频主题，搭建中西文化的桥梁。以介绍中国**的传统文化为主线，力求具有代表性、民族性和趣味性。使学生通过对这些资料的学习和领悟，培养民族自豪感，陶冶审美情操，弘扬中华民族的人文精神。同时突出了学生的主体地位设计了新颖的活动版块，打破了传统教材单调的训练程式，从学生的要求和实际情况出发，培养他们的自主学习能力。 本次改版对难度有所调整，并提供教师资源包，以适应不同层次学生的需要。根据阅读材料的时效性进行增删。《中国文化（英文版）（第3版）》适用于英语专业一、二年级学生，也适用于具有中学英语基础的非英语专业学生和英语爱好者学习。
